These days, we have seen stars from around the globe appear in gaming cut scenes because of pioneers like Wing Commander. There are real Hollywood stars featured in the game, but the graphics are very pixilated, and the overall look of the game is of a poor quality. The developers had to make the most of the technology at hand, and it really shows when compared to modern games. The three hours of live action video are partly cut scenes and partly episodes within the game where your actions determine the story. Make your way through the space adventure in the final sequel that completes the chronicles of the Terran-Kilrathi war.

With that in mind, it is possible to pick up on what is going on and what the story is about when you play Wing Commander 3 Heart Of The Tiger on its own. The story is not so complex that you cannot piece it together by what you see. This version does have the best graphics and game play of all three, so there is nothing wrong with playing this game and going back to play the others if you enjoy this one.
